- The Pantech Vega Secret Note you wish to root
- A PC
Step 1 – Download the USB drivers for your device
In order to root you must first download and install the USB drivers for your device which you can get from here. Download and then install them on to your PC and proceed to the next step.
Step 2 – Download Fastboot

Step 3 – Download the custom recovery for your device

Save the file to your desktop and extract it to its own folder. Once extracted copy the files to the same folder where you extracted ADB from step 2.
Make sure that the file matches the model number of your device before proceeding.
Step 4 – Put your device in Fastboot mode
The device needs to be put in to bootloader mode.
Make sure the device is powered off completely.
Hold Volume Up, Volume Down and Power together until the phone turns on and it should then be in Fastboot mode.
Step 5 – Install the custom recovery
Connect the device to your computer, and the device should be recognised thanks to the USB drivers you installed on to your PC from step 1.
On your PC, inside the folder where you have both Fastboot and the custom recovery run the RunFastboot.bat file.
The device will boot in to recovery mode.
On the device exit recovery mode and you will be asked if you want to root the device.
The device will then reboot and once this is done it will be rooted and you should see SuperSU installed as a new application.
