Ambient Recording



Ambient recording for KnowIT is not to be confused with Live Room Monitoring.

Ambient recording allows you to use your KnowIT online portal to remotely specify a duration in minutes for how long you wish to discretely record the audio surroundings of your employee's device.

Before you can use ambient recording the following features must have been set up:

Ambient recording can be used in the workplace to make sure your employee is not stealing trade secrets with competitors or just to see if all those meetings scheduled really are being as productive as your employee says.

At this time ambient recording can be set to record from between 5 minutes and 60 minutes from inside your KnowIT online portal using the Live Listening & Recording section of the online portal.
