How to root the Blu Studio 5.3 S


This guide will show you how to root the Blu Studio 5.3 S phone.

What do you need to root the Blu Studio 5.3 S?

In order to root the Blu Studio 5.3 S you will need the following:

  • The Blu Studio 5.3 S you wish to root in your hand
  • A PC

Step 1 – Download and copy Framaroot to the Blu Studio 5.3 S

Rooting the phone is done using Framaroot which you can get from here. Save the file to your computer in an easy to find location on your PC

You now need to copy Framaroot on to the phone which is done as follows:

Connect The Blu Studio 5.3 S To Your PC

Copy the file you downloaded in step 2 onto the phone in an easy to find location such as the downloads folder.

Step 2 – Root the Blu Studio 5.3 S

You can now install Framaroot on the phone and root it. This is done by doing the following:

Disconnect the Blu Studio 5.3 S from your PC.

On the phone, browse to the download folder and run Framaroot (you may need to install a file manager from the Play Store to do this; enable installation of unknown sources if asked).

Install Framaroot on to the phone.

Run Framaroot and tap Install Superuser

Tap Gandalf and wait for the rooting process to complete.

Reboot the device when asked.

When the Blu Studio 5.3 S has rebooted look for the SuperSU icon which means that you have successfully rooted the phone.
