Rooting a device alone is sometimes not enough to get the root features of KnowIT to function. Below are some tips and general information on what you can do if you have rooted a device successfully, installed KnowIT but do not have root features.
Firstly, two questions must be asked:
If the TARGET device is not rooted it will run in NORMAL mode.
You must deactivate, uninstall and then physically root the device and reinstall KnowIT again.
If the device is rooted but you failed to tap GRANT when asked by SuperSU during KnowIT installation it will also run in NORMAL mode.
You must deactivate, uninstall and then physically reinstall KnowIT again and tap GRANT when asked by SuperSU.
If the device is rooted, you tapped GRANT when asked by SuperSU during KnowIT installation but, for whatever reason, full root permissions cannot be granted then it will run in LIMITED mode which means;
If the TARGET device is rooted, you tapped GRANT when asked by SuperSU during installation and full root permissions are granted then it will run in FULL mode.
If you missed it during installation you can check the KnowIT running mode after installation from inside your online account by clicking Account > Action button > Settings and seeing what the Running Mode is set to.
