Peripheral Connection Tracker
With peripheral connection tracking enabled, each time a device is connected to or disconnected from a KnowIT protected computer the activity is recorded and available in your KnowIT account.
The Peripheral Connection Tracker shows the name and type of the device, whether it was connected or disconnected and the time that it was done.
KnowIT lets yo track peripheral connections from 3 perspectives, depending on what you are interested in:
By Device | Track all peripheral connections by all employees on a specific KnowIT protected computer. |
By Employee | Track all peripheral connections by a specific employee on all KnowIT protected computers. |
By Peripheral | Track all connections of a specific device by any employee on any protected KnowIT computer. |
