Screenshot Recording (PC/Mac)

Screenshot Recording (PC/Mac)

Important note for Mac users

Please note that for Macs, if the device screen is locked, the device is in sleep mode or the device is running a screensaver at the same time that you request screenshots or have screenshots scheduled to be captured then they will not be captured

When Screenshot Recording is enabled, this page displays all screenshots recorded from the calendar date selected.

Calendar tiles indicate the number of screenshots available per each day on the calendar. Select a day for review, and a circle to the right shows the total number of screenshots currently captured. Click on the number in the circle to open the screenshot viewer.

Viewing Screenshots

Once the viewer is open, navigate with the forward and back buttons. Enlarge images by clicking the magnifying glass icon at the bottom of the screen, or click just outside any image. Navigate through enlarged images by clicking to the left and right sides of an image.

To enable Screenshot Recording

Screenshot recording may be enabled directly from the Screenshot Recording page.

  • Click “Check Settings” or the Gear icon in the upper right area of the screen.
  • Click “Change Settings”
  • Click “Enable”
  • Work Day: Select either “Default” or “Custom”. Default uses the defined Company Work Day schedule while Custom allows you to set a unique schedule for the specific employee device.
  • If you select “Custom”, enter the Start and End times, days of the week to be captured, and the frequency of Seconds or Minutes (every X seconds or minutes).
  • Click “Save”

You can also set up screenshot recording from an employee’s Device Control Center. Do this from the main menu > Devices > Action menu > Control Center >Schedule Screenshot.

Screenshot Recording enabled with either the Default or a Custom schedule will continue capturing indefinitely until disabled.

Temporary Screenshot recording may be enabled every 15 seconds for five minutes only, from the Request Screenshot button in the upper area of a device dashboard.
